Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join the finance function of a fast-growing multinational supply chain management company with operations across Europe, the US and Asia. The Financial Controller International Operations and Special Projects will report to the Group Finance Director. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting & FP&A - overall responsibility for financial reporting, month-end, and ownership of the monthly financial review processes with reporting, analysis of variances and action planning, for international operations
  • Systems & Controls - ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are in place and maintained for all regions
  • Project Management – ensuring the supporting finance team are enabling the production of accurate and timely financial information
  • Working Capital and Foreign Currency Risk Management
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with the year-end reporting pack, annual external audit process, and statutory accounts
  • Tax - liaising with professional advisors on regional corporate and tax compliance, and submission of returns
  • Commercial - Supporting the Group Finance Director on acquisitions, and business case development with analysis and assessments of new service offerings and new geographical market entry
  • Travel – c. two or three short trips to Asia per annum
  • Ad-hoc projects will be ongoing

Requirements for this Role

Successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Highly ambitious, Qualified Accountant, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a MNC environment, with strong technical accounting skills
  • Strong Project Management and Change Management experience
  • Experience of working with SAP
  • Highly Developed analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
