Job Description

Outstanding opportunity to join the leadership team of a privately held, early-stage venture backed MedTech company during an exciting team time for the company as they prepare for a period of rapid growth, development and commercialization in a few years. Reporting to the CEO, role will involve:

  • Taking the lead on all future fundraising activities
  • Building and managing a first-class finance function, with best in class financial systems and processes Investor reporting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury and Banking
  • Supporting operational and strategic development of the business
  • Delivering relevant, timely and insightful MI as required to facilitate management and Board decision-making, including KPI reporting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Supporting the CEO and SLT in the day-to-day management of the business.

Requirements for this Role

Ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • Qualified accountant, with a minimum of 10-15 years’ PQE
  • Strong academic and career track record to date
  • Experience of leading fundraising activities – Venture Capital or Private Equity
  • Commercially astute, articulate and a technically strong leader
  • An ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
  • Excellent communication skills
