Job Description

As a result of continued growth and development within the Group, this newly created position has arisen. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of external audit process, including Group, Statutory and Interim audits, liaising closely with the external auditors
  • Technical Accounting – reviewing any new IFRS and FRS standards or guidance and determining the appropriate application for the Group, providing divisions with technical guidance during the preparation of monthly and year end accounts and working with M&A team ensuring correct accounting treatment of new acquisition projects
  • Ownership and detailed review of Group and Statutory Financial Statements
  • Management of all external reporting – quarterly deliverables to key shareholders and bank covenant reporting
  • Working with IT to develop and improve functionality
  • Ad-hoc projects will be ongoing

Hybrid working model, 3 days office, 2 days home

Requirements for this Role

Ideal candidate will have the following background:

  • Qualified Accountant with Big 4/ Top 10 audit training background
  • Currently either at Manager or Senior Manager level in practice, or working in a plc or large corporate in a reporting role
  • Excellent academic track record
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT savvy, SAP experience a plus
