Exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join an Irish Plc in the Group Cost Management Team as a Finance & Transformation on 12 month contract. The role will play a key role in the transformation of the team’s service to that of a trusted business partner through process optimisation and enhancing the teams reporting capabilities.
Process Optimisation – Take responsibility for the delivery of a range of process optimisation activities in the team spanning local processes to multi team activities. Take ownership for delivering demonstrable improvements in quality of output and efficiency
Business Partnering – Support the design of the team’s business partnering agenda by developing the reporting needed to engage key senior partners
Technology Roadmap – Play a key role in exploiting the existing reporting tools and maximising the benefits from Project Prime, the ongoing planning and reporting application upgrade
Promote an appropriate Control Environment – Lead review of existing processes to ensure the appropriate control environment with a focus on quality output and ensuring trust with all stakeholders, whilst maintaining agility the customer needs
Developing key working relationships with the senior business leaders supported by Group Finance
Requirements for this Role
- A qualified accountant with proven experience of delivering finance process improvement.
- Must be highly motivated with an ability to adhere to deadlines and ensure quality in every aspect of reporting.
- Excellent practical experience exploiting financial systems. SAP would be an advantage
