Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join the finance function of a well-established Irish Leisure Group, as they prepare for an exciting future as the sector reopens. Reporting to the Group CFO, roles will involve:

  • Financial Reporting & Financial Control – managing all day-to-day finance related activities throughout the Group including P&L, B/S reviews, overseeing the consolidation process, managing all compliance matters including taxation, company secretarial and statutory reporting
  • Leadership – Further development of finance team across the Group including several qualified Accountants
  • Treasury Management – Managing treasury related matters including banking relationships, interest and capital payments, relationships with merchant services providers
  • FP&A – Review & analysis of reporting and preparation of commentaries on Group performance, and managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting
  • Audit & Risk Management – Financial risk management, and management of the annual audit process, development of and adherence to appropriate/best practice internal & financial control systems
  • Systems – Overseeing accounting/ reporting systems and optimisation of use of such systems
  • Ad-hoc Projects – general project related work (as directed by CFO and CEO)

Requirements for this Role

Successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, with Big 4 training background
  • Minimum three years’ PQE within a commercial role (Controller/ Senior Finance Manager)
  • Strong technical accounting skills, FRS 102 knowledge and experience of preparation of consolidated accounts
  • Strong academic track record
  • Proven leaderships skills
