Job Description

Newly created position with a market-leading pharma company in the West of Ireland. Role represents an excellent career development opportunity, where candidate will gain exposure to people management, financial reporting and commercial finance within a growing Irish headquartered business with international operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance, role will involve:

  • Financial Reporting, month-end ownership and management
  • FP&A and Management Reporting – Board pack collation, KPI reporting and review of standard cost vs actual cost for key product ranges, Opex variance analysis, gross margin product-analysis reviews and reporting to commercial teams, rebate calculation reviews
  • Budgeting – management of annual budget process for the Group
  • Planning and Forecasting
  • Systems, ERP system improvements
  • Process improvement
  • Strategic Initiatives – development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives across the Group – revenue and costs
  • Leading and developing a small team of Qualified Accountants
  • Transfer Pricing – review and analysis
  • Ad-hoc projects will be ongoing

Requirements for this Role

Ideal candidate will have the following background

  • Qualified Accountant, with a Big 4 training background, and large company audit experience
  • Progressive, relevant PQE, to Finance Manager, or possibly Controller level in industry, within a multi-currency, multi-company environment
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and influencing skills
