Job Description
An existing, newly created position with a well-established, highly successful Irish engineering and manufacturing Group, during an exciting time for the business as they continue to further grow and develop in the new markets. Key aspects of the role will involve:
- Strategic Management – supporting the CEO and SMT with strategy development and implementation, new product development, business development and operations
- Resource Planning – working closely with department heads to greatly improve and streamline production planning
- Decision Support – commercial decision support and financial modelling
- Projects – leading acquisitions, partnerships and various interesting margin enhancing projects
- Operational Performance – supporting performance improvement initiatives
- ABC – building an Activity Based Costing model, ensuring costs are accurately reported and assigned to better support performance evaluation, pricing, commercial decision making, WIP analysis and KPI reporting
- Systems – continuous improvement to systems capabilities for tracking and reporting
- Management Reporting – keeping the SMT updated, KPI reviews and reporting, with variance analysis
Requirements for this Role
Successful candidate will ideally have the following background:
- Qualified Accountant, with relevant FP&A experience
- ABC experience, within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Energetic, with excellent communication and influencing skills, and very comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Highly analytical and strong/ advanced excel skills
