Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join the senior finance team of a large Group , well positioned for future growth and expansion. Reporting to the Group CFO, this role will play an instrumental role in the Finance team in supporting the drive for operational excellence and strong profitable growth in the business. Role will involve:
- Leading and developing a local finance team
- Overall responsibility for accounting processes for all regions, taking ownership of all technical accounting issues
- Preparation and review of monthly Group consolidated accounts
- Preparation of a Management Reporting Pack with full analysis and commentary on performance for the executive management team, board and investors/shareholders
- Compilation of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts
- Annual preparation of year-end reporting pack, and overall responsibility for annual external audit and preparation of statutory accounts
- Ensuring tax compliance throughout the Group and managing returns
- Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are in place for all regions
- Acquisition due diligence and integration of newly acquired companies into the Group
- Ad-hoc project s will be ongoing, incusing systems developments, and ad-hoc project work during an upcoming period of domestic and international and growth

Requirements for this Role
Successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Big 4 training background, possible currently at Director level or possibly coming from a Group reporting function within a large corporate with international operations. Candidate will have a strong academic track record, strong technical accounting skills, in-depth IFRS knowledge and experience of preparing complex consolidated financial statements. Demonstrated strong commercial acumen essential.
