Job Description
An excellent newly created opportunity with a fast-growing Cork-based, Irish Group with significant operations both in Ireland and across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Payroll, role will involve:
- Leadership – managing, mentoring and leading a team of four in the payroll function
- Payroll Management – Review and sign-off of Group Payrolls and managing outsourced payroll partnerships across Europe
- Stakeholder management – Liaising with HR, Finance, foreign tax advisers, Tax Administrations in different countries and other external partners and institutions such as pension and life companies
- Payroll compliance – ensuring compliance with local regulations internationally and liaising with Tax Department in relation to tax compliance across all payrolls (expenses deductions, BIK, double tax credits)
- Process improvement
- Payroll software upgrades and integrations
Hybrid Working model: 2/3 days office/home
Requirements for this Role
Ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a payroll leadership position
- Strong people management skills
- IPASS qualification preferably
- European payroll knowledge and experience
- Highly organised, with strong communication and business partnering skills
