Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Policy

At FK International we take a responsible approach to how we do business. We live the values of ESG – being environmentally responsible but equally having a social conscience and doing what we can to be a better corporate citizen.

Helping the Environment:

FK International is committed to helping to preserve our environment through waste reduction, recycling and the efficient use of energy and we currently operate a number of internal programs, such as paperless workstreams, “reduce plastic” policy and recycling where possible.

We all have a responsibility to act now and reduce our carbon footprint towards net zero. We kicked off 2021 with our commitment to plant a tree for every placement we make. In a world where consumers, customers, partners and suppliers are growing increasingly concerned about the environment and climate, a tree planting project is an effective way of highlighting how serious we are. We all can easily see the connection between planting trees and the positive contribution this makes to nature and the environment, which is why we have chosen to include this as part of our environmental initiatives and ESG policy.

Social Responsibility

As well as our environmental practices, we also have wider social responsibility initiatives in place, including supporting our staff and clients’ charitable activities with donations and time off work.

FK International have been involved and supported such initiatives as:

  • Spinal Injuries, Ireland
  • Acquired Brain Injuries
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities
  • Irish Cancer Society
  • Feed our Homeless
  • GT5K
  • Todayfm’s Formal Friday
  • Todayfm’s Dare to Care Wedding dress Wednesday
  • Saint Vincent de Paul – Ozanam House – Strictly Come Dancing and Christmas Appeals

We continue to support a wide range of charities and organisations.

Diversity & Inclusion:

FK International encourages equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and among our clients. We create and promote a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all staff are recognised and valued.
