Group Accounting positions typically arise at Head Office level. There will be a group structure with subsidiary companies (local and international) reporting into the Head Office. Typically a Group Accountant will manage the consolidation process, analytical review of subsidiary performance and management of the audit process. There will also be interaction with group tax, treasury, M&A and other ad hoc projects.
